    Default see my profile

you can see and read about mine under my profile. (although I know you already have aksheephuntress) it was an awesome hunt. I'm planning my hunt for this year now but am at a standstill waiting on draw results. I wish they would hurry so I know which direction I'm heading.

    aksheephuntress,
Mine is on my profile too, along with other critters, I DID NOT put in for any sheep draws this year...heading back to "Ram Alley" with my youngest boy. My most memorable, my 1st sheephunt with my boy in the Brooks 2008, when he took a nice griz.

You must really love to hunt sheep....lets see some of your pics.

Reminds me of a joke I heard while in school down in MT.

The two biggest lies in MT are:

    1) My 4x4 is paid for.

    2) Honestly officer, I was only helping the sheep over the fence.
Spending my kids' inheritance with them, one adventure at a time.

...Absolutely beautiful rams!- thankyou for posting these, and links to profiles and your albums... even if you may have posted some before....
    -goaty...yes, I do remember your ram...it's gorgeous!-

-ramhunter, your wife's sheep is truly spectacular!...

    -all of them are awesome....

-I enjoy seeing your sheep; it lifts my spirits and is inspiring for the upcoming season that will be upon us before we know it-

-Kahahawai....you are right, I love to hunt sheep!-
-and thankyou for asking for me to post my sheep pics- I will get some up, I guess....thankyou for asking!
-but,in my 8 years of hunting hard for sheep, I have not had a successful harvest as of yet...I have posted that a few times before; -I guess my forum name implies, understandably, that perhaps I might have had a few sheep under my belt-or, at least one....
-actually, I have thought maybe I should change my forum name to "Aksheeplesshuntress" until I finally harvest one!-lol-
-I have lots of glassing above timberline and glacial pics-lol-

-anyway,I just thought others would like to enjoy peoples' sheep posts on this thread, as well....your sheep pics would be a treat to experience while we await patiently for permit app results......

    Default Brooks Happiness

Well after a week in the mountains, snow, rain, hills, rock, hunger, excitement it had finally come together. This photo captures my excitement well. I felt kinda bad the ram got a banged up but sometimes thats just what happens. This August my goal is to get another Mt. Goat and not have it all torn up and bloody for the field work and yes I know the difference between sheep and goats.

13.5 bases 37" on the long side.

    Default my favorite sheep hunt...

doesnt include any dead sheep pics...but it was with my dad (the one who instilled and nourished this drive i have) it was last year, and it was just an awsome hunt with my favorite guy in the world. and we were all over sheep in a area i'd never been too...all in all in was an awsome hunt, just no legal sheep, and a shortened hunt due to weather and last minute logistics. waiting to do a write up till after i find dad his ram i'm taking ten days off guiding this august for hunt number two for him. and who knows, maybe i'll even get to shoot one myself if i can find him one quick enough. heres a few pics of the hunt, and a little ram that was the closest i found to being legal...the area held lots of sheep, but had been hunted hard obviously in a six day hunt (spent four of our ten waiting on weather) i found over 150 head of sheep and 12 rams...none legal. but it was fun to be out, not guiding, stalking sheep with dad...a great time in the mountains.

    a 7/8 ram

same ram with his buddy...this shots only about ninety yards with a regular little digi camera

dad...he's been hunting deer and elk for a long time...he's absolutely hooked on sheep hunting now....though i cant get the guy to kill a brown bear with me for nothin.

me glassing for sheep...neat country, neat hunt.
