Thumbs up Trail Report W.P.C. Willow AK. 3/24/10

Hey everbody, things are still holding well for the Willow area. Nancy Lake SRA. is still open, but we don't know for how long. The rivers are still in really good shape for travel. With cold temps at night and warm later in the day the snow is hard in the morning. With condishtions like this you can go anywhere! It looks like we will try to do the 240 mile run on Friday.
Got a little extra funding for one more groom this week so all trails are in great shape!
It's spring riding. Ride now or wait till next year!

Thumbs up Another sh--y day in paradise!

Went out cutting wood and signing and trimming trails today. 16 degrees this morning 39 this afternoon with blue skys.
You guys need a sick day and get out and ride (cough, cough)!!!!
We are flying the 240 in the morning just to check it and will leave Willow at 8:30 Friday morning , stop at Luces for gas and breakfast, then on to Skwetna to top off. Hit the river up to Donkey Creek and then to Donkey Lake over the top to Kenny Creek Lodge then down Peters Creek to the Kahiltna River then to Oilwell Road cross over and down to Mono Lakes Trail to the Deshka River and home. About 13 hours taking it easy!

Its' Alaska at it's best! Get out and RIDE!!!!!
