I have one and really like it. I am 6'6" and it fits well. It isn't the lightest, but it will take some wind and there is plenty of room for two. It is vented well and condensation isn't a problem. It is a great value.

    Default Campmor

Campmor usually has a good price on this tent.

I use them and have for many years. I have been in deep snow and 100+ mph winds in them and never had one break. I have had a few pole breaks and rips over the years from heavy use. Parts are easy to purchase.

I use a good ground cloth under .... here in SE.

I use them as a one man ... and they work great.

Hi Johnnie - I often look at a picture I took of the two Alpenlites we set up on the ridge when hunting with your guide and admire the looks and how those tents stood up to the weather on that 'hurricane' ridge. I think a picture of the same two tents ended up in a Swazi catalog too!
