    Default looking for a dead blackfish

    i have a friend who wants to do a carving of one, and would like a specimen for a technical model.
    anybody have one? or could someone get one?
    i will be in Anchorage the 25th, also could have someone pick it up and freeze it...

    Exhume your own Dave!

    You may want to try the creek down by the Kenai small boat harbor as they have been doing some work around that little gut they live in.

    wow ive actually got a 11" incher in my freezer i was saving for burbot bait. you can have it if ya want lol

    wow, that's a monster!!!
    if it is in pretty good shape i would love to have it.
    that one is even bigger than the "larger than life" carving it would be the model for!!!

    haha came from beer can lake....yea its frozen and i brined it for 3 hours prior to freezing so it should be well preserved

    I saw a blackfish on the camera when fishing with BigCox that looked like it was about a foot long....there must be something strange in the water content in that lake?

    Yea, there are lots of fishermen loosing bait in that lake.
