    Default C182 A vs B

    What's the difference between a C182A & B?

    Default Model Changes

I think the only major change was the addition of cowl flaps on the "B" model. The 1956 182 grossed at 2550. It ended up getting bumped to 2650 with the A,B,C,D Models.

(Of course with later models it then went up to 2800, then 2950, an eventually 3100 pounds.)

Here is a link that has all the changes for every model and year. This company specialized in float conversions and seems to have a handle on all of the differences. I hope it answers all your questions.
