    Default Chaincase Removal

    I'm trying to pull the chaincase off a 87 artic cat super jag w/reverse.I have everything removed but the lower bearing won't come off,and can't pull the case.Any tricks?Thanks

    Did you try heat??
    I had to pull a chain case on a 94 puma that had reverse and for some reason I think I had to pull the drivers out..

    Did you remove the bearing on the other side? The driveshaft (drivers) do have to come out. I am pretty sure that the design hasn't changed that much until you get to diamond drive. There should be a bearing under the secondary....possibly where your speedo if you have one hooks in.

    Thanks guys,there was three nuts up underneath the tub I needed to remove.
    They were on a pressed on stud that I thought were bolts.It came off fairly easy after that.Now I can put her back together.Thanks again
