Default adjustable knob inside my track suspension?

can anyone tell me what happens if i tighten or loosen the big knurled knob that sits about 2/3 of the way forward inside my track suspension? i've got a skidoo highmark....curious what it'll do before i start crankin' on it.

That knob is for adjusting your limiter strap, which basically controls your ski pressure. The looser it is the lighter your steering will be and the tighter it is will give more pressure on your skis. There's a jamnut that you loosen up then turn that knob whichever way you want to adjust your strap.
