Good looking Savage. Did you build it, or buy it? Interesting, a muzzle brake on a 22-250..

Thumbs up picked her up on ..

Gun broker and the scope off 24hr campfire, sold my old m77 22-250 w/brake (pic below)...had the brake put on in the early 90's and WOW factor was unreal ,watching hits is something to be enjoyed (well by the shooter not the shoot'e) I load hot (4000+),And I was lookin for more prfomance with little faster twist rate, after some research i came up with this. Those who havn't had the chance to shoot a little fast/tack driver round ,compelte with a "finaly"... beware it can turn u into a crackhead!

Oh, I know the feeling. I have one of the first Savage 110 varminters in 22-250. Horrible stock and it's built on a long action of all things. But man o' man does it drive tacks. No problem watching my hits at long range, but I can see how the brake might make it easier.

    Default Nice looking Savage

My 22-250 is an ancient Remington 788. Shoots itty bitty groups with factory ammo. I bought it probably 20yrs ago with an old Weaver looking scope in 4X. I think it just says Universal on it.
I cut down the original stock so my kids could use it to each take a doe when they were 10 and 11 but picked up a new stock from Numerich Arms about 10yrs ago.

Post the target from the "1st set"

200yds, 3 charges of a powder/ with 2 differnt powder's. All fired like a clock...(#1 into the 1st block, next charge up the ladder into the next etc ,so as to cut my poor shot placement from the mix... ),really should do 5 shots, but i'm cheap.... as u can tell " she " allready has found what she likes.... and she likes it hot... yea! i learned something....(i took that shot with the lite behind so it is easy to see!)
