Default Got a Delta Bison Tag?

I'm not sure if it is still open but I think it is. Anyway, I just saw about 100 off of Windy Ridge Rd. They are on military land, so you need one of their recreation passes, but they were on the N. side of the road and that is in a shootable area. If you want a better description, give me a call at 895-4978.

Not sure about the PC police, but I know the Troopers watch this site. Handing out info using a cell phone?!?!?! Illegal.

how's that any different than talking to your buddy about your hunting spots or what you saw?.......yes if he's on the phone while they're hunting & giving them directions thats a diff. story.....

I don't really care; if someone wants to take the chance go for it. It’s not my ass. Nothing PC about it, it's in the regs. Not going to argue about it. The guy gave specific locations, and then said to call him. Just saying. I’m not a lawyer, and only interpreted the regs with my pea brain, but it sounds a little too close for comfort for me. I just want guys to be careful, and not get in trouble.

895- is the landline prefix. Nothing wrong with calling someone from landline to landline to get info.

That's ridiculous. Obviously the intent is to prevent people from using electronic communication to coordinate and position themselves out in the field. If the troopers do in fact try to nail people for something like this, shame on them.

You cannot use phones to communicate between hunters in the field to locate game. Calling someone to find out about a spot they have seen game is perfectly legal as long as you are not in the field while doing it.

    You guys are unbelievable.
Between this and the "call the fish cops" thread, I'm disappointed.

A nice guy offers to share information and the hall monitors jump in right away. It's a dam disgrace.

    Thanks to the original poster.

Actually I should apologize for assuming they were using a cell phone, and saying something. I usually don't say much about that type of ****, because I'm not a hall monitor, and I'm not one that runs to the troopers. I believe in sticking to what I do, and letting people do what they do. I live out of town for that reason! I believe people do the right things for the most part. Like I said though, I only said something so guys wouldn't get into trouble. I should have checked my assumption at the door. The intent of my post was to let someone who may or may not have known of the law. I think I even said that?!?! How is that a disgrace? If Not wanting one of my hunting brothers to get busted for something stupid (cause the troopers have done that), then I guess I am a disgrace. I surely don't care if I disappointed someone or not! LOL Anyway sorry for the assumption that they were talking about cell phone usage. Happy and safe hunting.

Actually Phish, only one guy was questioning if there was anything illegal in the post, the rest of us were supportive of the original poster.

Winter must be long for some. I'm seeing more knee-jerking than normal around here. Where's the sensitivity police? LOL.
