    Default First Lynx

Here's a couple pics of my first Lynx. I caught him in a set that I just threw up in a hurry. I was starting to get discouraged since the season is coming to an end. My 5 yr old and I went to check our snares and they were empty. This was the last one we checked. I don't know who was more excited, me, my son or my wife. This was our first year trapping. He is going to look good in a full body mount.

And in some units lynx trapping is still open. How about we assume the best about our fellow forum members?

AKHunterNP - Nicely done, sir! Great job on the first lynx.

My area is still open. That is one thing that I take very seriously and make sure I know before I hunt, fish or trap.

Nice big one. My traps aren't so lucky.

Thanks, yes, Alaska is great. Luckily I have a wife who is moslty supportive of my hunting, trapping and fishing addiction. Since we've been in Alaska she has really gotten into fishing and is slowly getting into hunting. I bought her a T/C Pro Hunter 30-06 that she likes to shoot so hopefully she will get a bear this year.
