    Default Snowing like a banshee

Here in the Anchorage area, is Petersville, Lost Lake, Eureka or Hatchers Pass getting any snow?? Was planning on not riding this weekend but it looks like those plans are going to change.

Just got an e-mail from Tony at Kenny Creek lodge, they got 2" last night but as of this morning, nothing yet. I hope this snow is headed that way.

I hate to tell you, but unfortunately with this system there won't be a lot of snow up north. I would really like to see more up north myself.

Ended with a total of 9" at the south end of the Talkeetna Spur Rd., but towards the north it was tapering to 6" or less

Default What's this storm going to do?

What is your expert opinion of this big storm spinning in the Gulf?

I think it's going to roll onshore late tonight, and bring snow. I don't think it has quite the warm air that the storms of the past weeks have had. Hoping the high over Alaska doesn't push it back....

We got a tiny bit of snow last night and it was very powdery and fluffy, I could almost blow it off my deck. Let hope this next system brings a bunch more, the Weather Underground site is calling snow most of next week towards Trapper Creek.
