Thumbs up Trail Report W.P.C. Willow AK. 2/24/10

The warm weather did some damage but after grooming on Mon. and Tue. the trails have been redone to a nice smooth finish. Now there is some corn snow on the top. The only trail that we could not groom was the Deshka River X-over just a little to much overflow for the groomers, but I am sure it will be runnable for the weekend. It was not deep but we could not get the drags thought it. No new snow but temp were down to 19 last night and at 7:00 this evening it 24 degress. Scratchers are a nice thing to have for running in this type of condishions.
Jr. Iditarod will be running out of here on Sat. and back on Sun. so keep a eye out for the dogs and kids and cheer them on!!!

Have fun out there and keep your slides cool!!!!

    Default Good news

    Hallelujah!!!
Thanks for the update TrailBoss and would really appreciate hearing the final depth so I'll know if I need to bring my plow truck to my cabin. Glad all the Idita-dogs will have something better to run on!

    Wink More Snow!!

Ok guys heres the facts on the snow deal! We got over 7 inches of 20 degrees + snow, nice and dense. And I think it will settle out by morning at 5+. Was plowing all day and it snowed till 3pm. Not only Willow but Hatcher Pass got this load too. Up river only got a little and up north didn't get much. Big Lake and Willow got the dump!
It's here get out and play!!!
