    Temperatures:

We have finally dipped back down under freezing! Temps on Tuesday morining were below 20 F, but it warmed up in the afternoon to around 36 F. Overnight temps dipped again back down into the low 20's F. No snow or rain over the past few days.

Snow Depth At Landing Parking Lot:

We haven't received any new snow in past 2 weeks. The rain and warm temps made the snow heavy and wet, now the cold temps have made it hard.

    Trail Conditions:

Trails are hard and icy now due to the warm temps and rain at the end of last week. The cold temps overnight the past two night have made the overflow and sloppy conditions near the trail rock solid now. The trail was groomed from the mouth of the Yentna up past Yentna Station on Tuesday. If you get off the trail you have a good chance of running into overflow.

At 10:30 am Thursday we are around 4" and the whiteout conditions have improved, however the snow keeps coming down. One of the guys just came in from Donkey Lake. He reports about 1/2" in Skwentna when he was going through there earlier and the snow really was starting to come down around Lake Creek.

Trails up north have some huge ruts due to the the Iron Dog running through all the overflow this past weekend. Most of that overflow has now frozen up. The trails are very hard. The snow should help to improve things once the groomers can get out.
