    Default Fishing Knots (animated guides)

I found a website a while back that has great animated videos for all types of fishing knots. At the top of the page you can also choose from a variety of other knots. Just thought I would pass on the helpful information.

Thumbs up Excellent "How To" Guide

Very cool online resource. Thanks for sharing. Just bookmarked the site.

I like the feature that allows viewers to adjust the speed of each clip, so that it's easier to follow each step.

    Default Also

You can also just move your mouse along the number sequence and do it at your own pace. Or like you said, use the fast and slow buttons.

So what is the best knot for attaching Power Pro line to terminal tackle? I use 65lb test on my reels and often it's a bugger to get a knot to hold. Use the improved clinch knot and find if I pass through the eye twice it holds better, but not always.

    Palomar. Nuff said.

Great site, Bowdy. I've run across it before, but it's a great resource and now I've got the bookmark. Thanks!

It depends on if you are tying it directly to your teminal tackle, or are running a topshot of mono. I prefer to run 10-12' of 80# mono to my braid, then then tie off my corkscrew swivel to the mono. The mono adds a bit of abrasion resistance, and shock absorbtion. It also makes it easier/safer to grab the line when landing a fish.
