    Default Moose Backstrap

Any good ideas on cooking moose backstrap. One problem is that my daughter has celiac disease and cannot tolerate any wheat exposure. So far all I have done involve crok pots, would like to try something different.
My child was inmate of the month at Mat-Su pre-trial Correctional facility.

How about marinating in worsteshire, water, and soy sauce and making kabobs. Simply frying in butter with a little garlic salt is also easy and delicious.

My kids loved this when I would make it ... I like to marinate the strap filets for at least two hours in Coke. Just puncture the filets with a steak knife and one can of Coke. Get your grill nice and hot, a quick spray of pam or paper towel oil on it. Drain the filets and add whatever rub seasoning mix you like and grill to medium done (moose is best in my opinion medium rare). I love it with grilled onions and mushrooms. Try it and let me know what you think...
