Thread: Impertech for Fishing

    Default Impertech for Fishing

Anyone using their Helly Hansen Impertech rain gear for all day ocean fishing, fish cleaning, shrimping, etc? Does it hold up like the Grunden rain gear? I realize there is a difference in construction, but if it holds up and works, it would be nice to save some money. Thanks.

Yes, but the fish smell lingers on them long after the day is over.

Impertek is what my deckhand and I both wear, mostly for the lightness and comfort. As far as durability, it not Grunden, but can typically get 2 seasons out of it.

That's all I have worn for about 5 years now. Still the same set and they work well.
