Default The most important house on the property

I searched high and low last summer when preparing to build the privy. I finally found one in Canada that I really liked. I copied his design, and made a few upgrades.

I have a "composting" outhouse that should last a long long time before a new hole is needed.

Thanks for posting that link. I may find more upgrades that I hadn't thought of.

Lol, Nice looking house's guy's, but I think if I ever do another one in the interior, it will be a 2-hole'er. In the interior, it get's cold and build's up pretty fast if you have alot of people using it everyday. Fill up one side, close it off and start on the other side.

A little story about a time when I was working out in Platium,.

Had this office guy that was out there working with us, he was from Boston, and he had never seen the wild's of alaska or the way's we lived. Well about half way through the winter, the cone was getting close to the seat, so he just added another 2" of foam to it. Long story short, he add'ed 12" of foam to the seat,( had to put block's on the floor to get up there) Then when it started to get warm he removed the foam and took a pic. of an 8" cone sticking out of the org. hole

I know, the thing's us guy's will do for a laugh

One of those black lid / red plastic folgers "cans" with a slot cut in down the side of the "can" makes a good tp dispenser. A screw through the bottom of the can to attach it to the wall, and you've got a tp dispenser. Put the paper in the "can," feed the paper through the slot, pop the lid back on you're in business.
