Default Best place in or around Anchorage for sheet aluminum

I've got a good bit of fabbing in my near future, where the best place for salt water aluminum plate/sheet and square and round tubing in or around Anchorage.

Any of the 5052, 5083, 5086, 6061 or 6063 alloys would do, preferably the 5086.

I'll be fabbing tanks, stairs and a swing arm davit for pots & getting the dingy off the roof.

Also, I smoked my cr@ppy harbor freight mig welder a couple years ago, anybody know where I can get a decent value replacement?

My Dad has built 10 or so boats from aluminum. He buys it at Alaska Steel.

Thanks! I'll give them a ring this morning.

Also, found a Lincoln 140 on craigslist for 500 bucks.

Air Liquide or Air gas can handle the welder. Given the job on hand, I'd spend the coin for a solid MIG with a high qualirt spool gun for aluminum. The Miller 210 range is kickass, I've used Miller and Lincoln about equally over the years, for me Miller seems do the trick.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

I do not know who has the best price on aluminum. The only two places to buy aluminum in Anchorage is Alaska steel and Greer tank. I would suggest you price both stores, several years ago it was cheaper to bring it in from out of state.
