    Default 338 Chambering Question

I was wondering if it is possible to have a 338 win mag barrel reamed to a 338-06? Is this doable?

You will have to cut off the portion of the barrel that is chambered for the magnum cartridge. This may not leave enough shank to be re-threaded to fit the action. It's easier to go from a small cartridge to a big one, then you just cut the chamber bigger. going from big to small requires getting rid of the too big chamber and starting over.
