I have thought about doing this w/ my wooldridge but can't imagine it doing well with the weight. I am curious what you find! My boat is likely a good bit narrower than that one though.

    Default 66"

this 1 has a 66" bottom and the sides are 26" and the hyd trim should aid in the extra load over the transom

Nice looking rack for sure! Hope the test results work out well with that setup. Out of curiosity, is there a stomp grate under that rack? If so how easy is the access to use it. Not familiar with the inboards so just wondering about that.

When I started dreaming up something similar I was toying with the idea of having it drop down about 8" inside the boat (below the rails). It doesn't seem like much but the weight of most of the quads is pretty low so it may make a difference. The more I thought about it the more I am leaning toward picking up a couple 185 three wheelers. I bet I would toss one in the bow and one in the back, and I mean literally toss. I know a sportsman 90 kids quad fits perfectly in the bow of my older wooly AK.
