    Default Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket...

Just curious, what are the preferences for on-line photo sharing, collaboration, storage, etc.?

The ads on Photobucket are getting a bit out of control, as well as the constant pressure to upgrade to 'pro' - so this is a self-serving question.

    Thanks!

When I upload pictures into my Photobucket account, individual pictures are just as clear and presentable as initially taken. However, when I try to view an album of said pictures in a slideshow, I notice increased blurriness.

Earlier today I visited DanatheRock's 2007 float trip on Flickr, as presented in a slideshow, and I didn't see any blurry photos at all.

I'm left to wonder if it has something to do with the compression/storage ratio(s)? I am not sure. It looks like I need to do a little experimenting and further research.

I'm blown away with my Smugmug account. Granted, I went with the paid pro version, but even the freebie is great.
