    Default alaska salmon fishing

I would like to ask that do you have any ideas about the salmons that will come in summer? Like would it be plenty or just a random season. I really have to know this for my summer plans

juenea is in the south east portion of the state and on saltwater but it hardly feels coastal. I bet salmon runs are pretty average maybe down a bit in south central I seem to remember floods in 2002
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

check the Alaska Department of fish and game website. They generally have some sort of a forcast though it can be pretty general/broad at times. Keep in mind it is just a forecast and almost anything can happen in a given year.

No I think I remember a flood in south central four years ago.. Juneau hardly feels coastal because theres so many mountains everywhere it takes a while to get to the ocean.

Needless to say Salmon do what Salmon do and many things effect the strength of return in each drainage. You could research an area you desire to fish and check out if available previous years data and projected. I have yet to find projections to be 100 percent accurate hense the word projection.

Any Who this will be a good start

    best wishes and tight lines
