official scorer BS
I have never got anything scored before, but I stuck a real nice bou this year and I am having a frustrating time getting it scored. I have tried 3 different guys in Anchorage and they all are giving me the slip. Whats the deal? I would be happy to compensate them for their time- what do I have to do?
consider bringing it to the ABA Banquet
March 27th at the Captain Cook Hotel.
See the post by Pupchow for more details:
"P&Y Scoring Panel
Bring your trophy down to get measured by an official P&Y measurer. $45 gives you an official score sheet eligible for the P&Y record book. Feel free to leave your trophy for the banquet to show it off."
You could also bring it to the valley if you had an excuse to go that direction.
Carl Brent measured my B&C griz.
Frank Noska measured my P&Y 'bou and if you bring it out to his place, you're sure to get an eye-full of GREAT mounts
I want to go to the banquet this year, I have never been to one before. I did not realize they did scoring there, is that an appropriate time to get scored? I have already been thinking about a trip to the valley to get some strechers, so i might do that.
I'm pretty sure its all volunteer so you kinda get that sometimes. Don't think you are allowed to compensate them either since that could but influence in the scoring or at least be perceived that way. They certainly don't want even want to raise that question.
