Default Tipped Hornady Leverlutions in a hand gun?

I was at Frontier the other day looking for .44 bullets. and was handed a box of tipped hornady made for the lever actions...

has any tried these in the hand guns yet? i dont see an issue in the revolver, it may even give better accuracy in the longer barrels. and i am considering a try in my D,Eagle, as long as the COL is correct? the pointed tip has little bearing, right??????

I've been shooting it in my Judge and a 44 mag.

It burns a little bit more "dirty" but i wipe the gun down and run a bore snake through the cylinder and barrle for each reload,so far I can't see a problem with it.

I was shooting a 3" target at 50 yards and hitting it pretty regular unless I did something wrong.
