Default Check these out for hooking up your shrimp pots

What do you guys think of these "toggles" for hooking/unhooking shrimp pots from the dropper line to the pot bridle. I test fished them all last season and i really liked how they worked, never had a pot come off and they are quick to get the pot off the dropper when your done fishing the pots and are putting away your lines. To hook up a pot all you do is pass the toggle through the loop on your bridle and give it a pull and your done, pot connected ! to unhook just pass the toggle back out through the loop and pot is off, couldn't be easier. I'm thinking of stocking them for the coming season so let me know what you think. Here's a couple of pictures. The time is getting near !!!

close up of toggle, white rope is the dropper line & v'ed rope would be the pot bridle

my pots all rigged and ready to set, i just run the rope right out of my underdeck bow storage locker, but you can see the toggles hooked up to the pot bridles

If your talking about the buoy swivels yes still use them. These toggles can be used instead of a pot swivel, the twist in the droppers can be cleared when you unhook the pot at the end of the fishing day or if you just add a small loop to the front of the pot swivel then you could just run the toggle through that.

I like it, fast, simple, clean and nothing to rust out. I used ss snap swivels last year, but this looks like a better way to go.
