    Got these pics in an email. Looks too big to be believed, but due to the high jpg compression, it's hard to tell if there was any "editing" of these photos or not. Message with them claims it is at least 8-feet at the shoulders. Supposedly taken near Elliot Lake in Ontario. Pretty amazing animal if these are real pics...

    Old news previously argued and debated heavily about Photoshop issues with that pic.

    I think the road used for this picture is 4 wheeler sized and not regular truck size. That changes the proportion of the moose.

    Whoooaaa Nellie,

    I think if you look really close that is one of the last moose native to northern california. I'd bet everything I learned in Mendocino county that those are Redwoods!
