Great laker Steve. I heard it was very cold out there. No gloves on the girls?

    AC500- Lake Louise system..

Bronco- The woman is the fish nut in the family. I hardly have time with trapping or working on the cabin to fish. Maybe someday that will change...

Mike- DANG cold, -33 sat night! No gloves needed when your inside a toasty fish tent. Not that I can keep gloves on the kid though, tough as nails...

Guys, if you want to catch fish it's best to start thinking like a woman!

Cold hands, warm heart! She looks pretty happy too!
I bought me one of those little red tents and have a little heater. Need to try a spot that I have been eyeballing. Weather looks reasonable for this coming weekend. My cabin is still a baby and requires alot of late night stove feedings still. It gets cold pretty quick when the embers die down.

    Dirt,

Is it the cabin or the person that is the baby? A night of having to feed a stove and fishing is better then a day in a warm dry place with a electric blanket. Man up and go fishing............LOL

I will agree that -33....God bless Steve and his family for the photo because I do not think I am going out in that cold of temp.

Mike, get used to it. I sleep with one eye open, making sure the stove is still going. I can get 2 hours of heat between feedings. My stove cranks the heat nicely but the fire box is just too small. I will be upgrading this spring to a Blaze King Princess model. A little more efficient and much larger fire box. I think I have been by your place TWICE in the last month as I seem to keep blowing by Larson at night on my way in. I start to realize it when I start to see the bank getting closer to the groomed trail, lol. My buddy Sean lost a monster a few weeks ago while jigging a big halibut weighted squid jig...

    Need a key?

I guess I could start drinking beer. Then I can stoke the fire everytime I gotta get up and pee.

Mike that is a great plan, even better would be to invite a friend along for the weekend and ply him with free beer so he is the one stoking the fire upon every pee run.
