    Default Ninilchik camping

I was searching around on here and saw someone had mentioned beachcomber rv. Anyone ever stay there? Im looking for somewhere in that area to stay close to the beach. Also I would prefer to make reservations, not first come first served. We stayed in homer last year around the end of june and it was to crowded. Thanks Hillbilly

... you can usually park right on the south beach. Pretty busy during the king openers, but settles down after.

If you go farther south to Anchor Point you will also find a few good RV places, and also a boondocking area if you go all the way down the river road and then turn north up the beach. Great tidal area and good for both kings and silvers. Some partying, but it's free redneck camping. Additionally, it is close to launching area for halibut charters. Deep Creek also has a nice state camp ground at its mouth with good fishing during the runs and close to the launching area for halibut charters.

    Hope that helps.
