Default To the crew at WWG

I've actually never once been accused of being even the least bit a poet... but was driving home from WWG with my "loot" and laughing all the way while this little diddy kept running through my mind... I cant believe all the "stuff" I got, and alls they got from me was them nearly worthless (and getting wortlesser) dollars!

Many thanks Ken and crew! It'll be a while before I can afford to visit again!!!!

Twas some time after Christmas and all through the town,
Folks were done shopping, their loved ones all but drowned
in their throes of their gifts and their purchases and trades
But one of us was still drawn to see what Ken had in spades.

Despite all the joy from the many gifts received,
I couldn’t help think there might be something I need
Yet I walked in the store half knowing I was safe,
Because surely St Nick had by now flown from the state

When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But a white bearded man saying “get your head out of your rear”
“You want a great deal?” then your in the right place
But if you hesitate, you’ll feel my disgrace

These deals only come so often you see
And they’re not for the meek or the small or the week
So speak up then quickly if you can make up your mind,
Or leave me to tend to those more of my kind

For a moment the fear gripped my gut like a rock
But I knew I must speak before the clock said tick tock
“Yes please” I uttered, with all the force I could muster
And he turned to me looking like he was beginning to be flustered

“That sounds ALMOST decisive said he, but hold this gun now and try just to breath”
The twinkle in his eye soon gave me to see, I had nothing to fear if my wallet was free.
“Not enough? You can owe me, just shake out the change”
“Hold nothing back, for the pain is the same..”

Buy big or buy small, I’ll still get your last cent
But you’ll not leave unhappy, nor empty, just spent!
As I walked out the door with my Ruger in hand,
I marveled at the deal I’d just gotten from this man.

Mere mortal, I wondered, just half aloud
Or was it St Nick sans his sleigh and his elves?
Could the girls who so sweetly helped taking my money
Have been his little elves, so shapely and sunny

I’ll leave you to decide all these things for youself
But I will tell you this theres one less Ruger on the shelf
So hustle your way to Wild West while you can
For St Nicolas aint gone, he’s just back in the can

    I guess I'm not a bad "copy-catter" after all!

Good morning, how's things over yonder?

Not to bad we are starting to wind things down and pack things up, thinking of home more and more. Should be on the ground in Anchorage around the second week of Feb. Keeping my fingers crossed till then!
