    Default dog chewed bear claws recommendations

    My dog chewed my bear claws up on the rug. Looking for an inexpensive way to order replacement claws m fix myself

    some time you can find them on Ebay... in the taxidermist stuff and the crafts stuff...In AK they have to be made into a craft before they can be sold...

    Tim: I assume this is your black bear rug? I used to have several claws from a hide I did not want. Dang, I just gave away a hide, too. If I have any claws left, I'll let you know; I've given several away. j

    I have a few rear claws laying around. You can by the plastic taxidermist claws from one of their outlets

    Amigo is right and this is probably going to be your best solution. Any of the suppliers sell the reprodutions.

    Look on line www.mckenzietaxidermy.com they have them in catolag and just super glue them on.

    Go to ebay and get them cheaper then the taxidermy catalogs, If they are not chewed that bad 2 part epoxy mold them and paint.

    Didn't realize that they made reproduction claws it is for my brown bear.I think that would be simple enough w epoxy and paint.
