Default I need to get a shotgun barrel refinished

Anybody know any gunsmiths around anchorage or the valley who refinish barrels. I have a beretta 391 Urika that got really rusty when I loaded it to a buddy. I think he tried to knock the rust off with sandpaper, and now the gun looks really bad. It came in a flat black finish. So I don't think it would be too hard to get redone. Any help somebody can provide will be appreciated.

    Thanks

If the gun is overall in nice shape, amateur refinishing may hurt its value as much as leaving it rusty. Bring it by let us look at it and we can give you some ideas.

If it is not a collectable (and most likely isnt) just sand it down with some 400 grit sandpaper, degrease it pretty good and spray on a couple of coats of flat black rustoeum. It will last a couple of years easily.
