    Does anyone know how the bunny population is at Lake Louise this year?

    The last time I checked the population was 15 bunnies fewer than last time I was their.. I shot all the white ones.. left all the red, blue and green ones to grow and multiply.. all the white ones are gone now..

    Just got back in, Bunny pop is roughly 20 or so less.. I have to count them in the morning.. Also called in 5 Lynx and a buddy and I took 2 each.. Heck of a day..Long, but very productive

    Called in 5 lynx in one day.... I better keep my dogs closer. I knew they were there, just not so many.

    I never had one come to a call either.. and it isn't my first time out.. I dont know if it was the weather, moon, or what..but I sure did see the cats, But I only saw 2 fox... I was actually startled to be looking and a lynx pop its face up over a fallen log 20 yards away.. It actually startled me.. I still cant believe it..

    Whats the count now? Went yesterday for a few hours.. my son and I took a couple more dozen from the surrounding areas.. so they are still their.... Here's a picture of the ones he got.. and of the first one of the morning.. -14 below.. brrrrrrrr... their getting smarter and more difficult to kick up..

    Pounded 20 more today up their.. Snow is deep, and they are getting skittish.. all but 1 were running shots, and I mean they were moving with a purpose..

    The count is now.. 894,660? Who started the count btw.. LOL

    Pics will come later, their froze solid in the sled.. -17 this morning and -11 when I loaded back up this evening at 430ish.

    You must eat a lot of rabbit... holy smokes! I'd love to do more rabbit hunting but my wife and I can't eat it more than once a week.
