Back Country Navigation
I train in back country navigation with map, compass, and GPS, focusing on a strategy of using all three in concert, with each serving as a backup to the other. A special "hunter friendly" version of my course is posted, at no charge, at the website of Kifaru, International, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. If you'd like to check it out, go to Kifaru's website at www.kifaru.net, click "Hunting," then "Essays," which should take you straight to my course, "Back Country Navigation for the Hunter." I answer questions on the Kifaru message board and through my email addresses at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com.
Hope some of you find this of interest.
