Nope but he is a fat happy fish and in that pic leans towards why they are also called fresh water cod. Nice job.

    Default actual weight

This fish was taken from the Tanana River. It measured 39", 16 1/2" girth and weighed just over 15. The belly was extended due to it having a 13" burbot in it's stomach and being a female full of eggs. Good guess alaskanassasin.

Super nice...... I guessed the fish was over 40 inches by the pic. I once caught one that had 5 burbot in it's stomach and the largest was 12 inches.
Do you usually wait until you get home to bleed and gut your fish?
Your fish weight could be affected considerably by dehydration from the cold if it wasn't weighed pretty quickly. A 39 inch burbot should come in alittle bigger than 15.

    fun fun
