    Talking Reloading Question

I used to reload many years ago, but gave it up as not enough time. Now that I'm retired and lots of time I'm reloading again. Having a ball and every time that I pull that handle down I say "one more bullet in support of the coming revolution". Now my question, I'm having trouble with static electricity and the powder grains sticking to the plastic. This happens in both the powder funnel and the plastic tube on the powder measurer. Like I said it has been many years since I have done any reloading, but I do not remember having this problem. Am I doing some thing wrong, am I going to blow myself up? Thanks for any input.

Wipe them with a dryer sheet like Bounce, etc. Takes the static right out.
It doesn't matter what you miss them with.

    Default Dishwashing detergent

Try washing the plastic stuff in common dishwahing detergent - it usually gets rid of the clinging particles.

The dryer sheets are actually oily - don't know if it does any harm or not though.

Works every time. I've even had it so bad I ended up putting the dryer sheet inside the hopper with the powder. If you want to go high-class/top-shelf you could get an aluminum or brass hopper like those designed for black powder, but the cost isn't really worth it IMO and they'll still stick powder if the conditions are really nasty.

Also...Don't waste time trying to ground the powder measure. It seems to (sorta) work, but the time spent doing it could be better spent reloading and hitting the measure with another swipe of the fabric softener sheet

I too like the dryer sheet, any brand will do. I store my funnels in a 1 gallon zip lock freezer bag and keep a dryer sheet in there too.
