Question Holster for a Steven's Tip Up Pistol

I have a longer barreled vintage Steven's tip up .22 pistol that thinks it is a rifle and shoots absolutely awesome, so it has become a favorite backwoods pistol of mine. I do not have a holster for it and I don't believe anyone makes one for it. Should I build my own? Hints? Ideas? Thanks!

I'm thinking its highly unlikely you are going to find a holster for sale on the regular market. Time to call David Johnston and get him to fab one up for ya.

The barrel all the way back to the receiver face is a total of 8 inches. This goes all the way back to above the trigger guard, as seen in the picture I attached in the original question post. The barrel itself is .75 inches thick and the trigger guard and receiver are 2.5 inches in vertical thickness. What shape is that holster in, usable, if it does fit for woods carry? Thanks for the help! Great forum!!!

They shoot sweet! So the longer barreled one is an offhand model with thicker grips. It shoots a bit more accurate with that but the smaller one shoots really great too. They act like short rifles! Very amazing plus I can shoot everything from Colibri-Stingers and they all have the same point of impact! No change in zero! Of course the Colibri drop quick but quite surprising! Watch at gun shows because it seems like every once in a while a few show up at once, and then you won't see any for a year or more. Amazing that these are nearly 100 years old!
