    Default Stolen Gun Alert

An HK USP compact 45, 4" barrel, serial number 29-089768 was stolen from us sometime between Tuesday and today. It has one magazine.

It has of course been reported. I will reward the person (with some goodies) who can give me information that leads to the recovery of this pistol, as well as the arrest of the thief as well as the possessor.

Keep your eyes open at the gun show and get a prize.

Although I doubt the thief reads this Board, just for my own self aggrandizement here is a message to him: Laugh now sport, but sooner or later you will get caught and you will see how many friends we have in the LE community. You picked the wrong place to boost from.

We have just been way too crowded to be able to pick somebody out.

    Default Read please!

    Ken,
I was just told from another shop about being ripped off today (1/2/2010) and the counter man asked me to post this. A male walked into an Anchorage shop, wanted to look at some binos. We was shown some Leica Ultra Vid's 10x42 HD's. ($2500.00 binos) He checked them out, stared at the wall then the door and then bolted with them. There was a white Toyota Sequoya waiting for him outside and made his getaway. He was dressed up with a neck gator covering up all the way to his cheeks. The counter man didn’t think much of it because how cold it was but he did see glimpses of tattoo’s showing by his cheeks, and now thinking about it, appeared like he was trying to cover them up. They are convinced it was a well thought out plan. All has been reported to APD.

With what happened to you and now this other place I really hope other counter people and owners tighten down. Looks like to me as a trend being started and they will try again. Please all, BE CAREFUL!

    Ken, I will PM you.

I used to hear stories about putting ***** holes like that in crab pots. I hope you get your gun back and I hope he gets what's coming. Did I mention I hate thieves.

They have him on camera plus they got the license plate, so shouldn't be long, as long as the car wasn't stolen too. Pretty ballsy. This happened at Mountain View Sports.
