    Default NOAA Free Booklet Charts

There was an article in the Daily Rag this past week. I checked out the site. It pretty cool AND FREE (except you have to print the sheets out)

    http://ocsdata.ncd.noaa.gov/BookletC...kletCharts.htm

Has the large charts broken into 8.5" x 11" individual sheets at 75% scale.

I downloaded everything I thought I could ever possibly use and burned onto CD. I then printed out all the ones I was likely to use and put them in a binder which we keep on the boat. This way If I have an electronics problem I have not only a large chart but now these additional charts on board. They are handy for planning purposes also because you can view them on your computer and zoom in to get details.

Makes a good stocking stuffer, save your friend the time and hassle of downloading all the charts.

And if you haven't seen it, check out the online chart viewer:

    http://www.charts.noaa.gov/OnLineVie...werTable.shtml

You can slide around and zoom in and out to your heart's content. Start with the chart catalogue if you don't know which chart number you want.
