    Default Burris Euro Diamond scopes????

    I have a 30mm tube Euro model Leupold 3x9 with a German #4 reticle which I love.

I was wondering how the Burris 30mm tubed Euro Diamond models stack up...
    Any thoughts???

The Burris euro black diamonds are very clear and seem to be very durable scopes but are much heavier than the leupold euro series. I would stay with the leupold.

Thanks, I was wondering about that. I have never seen one in a shop.

The 3x9 Euro-30mm Leupold, I have mounted on my 30-06 Remington Titanium mountain rifle is VERY clear. The light gathering power seems better than the two Zeiss scopes I compared it against.

I agree on the leupold euro line of scopes, probably the best buy out there. I put a 2-7 euro on my dads 35 whelen. I was extremely impressed with it. I'm sure the others in that line up are equally impressive.

The burris is nice but for the money the leupold is the way to go. The burris is much heavier and physically larger scope. I really like the ballistic plex in the burris though. THe leupold LR duplex is similar in the leupold and very nice for longer range shooting.
