Thread: crack in the tub

    Default crack in the tub

I have a 92 arctic cat jag afs long track. Its only got 1300 miles on it, and it has developed a crack on the tub on the left side where the suspension is conected up front where your feet rest. I was wondering if anyone would recommend someone to weld and brace this spot for me. I would like it to be done right because i plan to have this sled for many more years. It is incredible shape other then the crack. I dont know what caused it, but i think it might be suspension bottoming out or something like that, so if the person doing the repairs is snomachine savy even better.
    Thanks
    Patrick

If you are around the Palmer/Wasilla area, Greatland welding has done some great work for me. They were very reasonably priced as well.
