    Default November Deer Rut

Here's a video I took during an early November deer hunt in SE. I had already taken a black bear so I passed on the bigger buck.

I was hiking down with this bear, when I heard these bucks fighting. They were going for a least two minutes before i got my camera out.

    Default Cool

I've watched bucks run off after blowing the call. It kinda appeared like thats what happened.

    That was a neat video.

No I haven't Trent but if it was taken near the bear, the background gives it away at least within a few miles ;-) I love the video I got it from a buddy up North you know who hunted with us the same week you were here. Nice bear as well.

    Default Tell us more

Gray...please tell us more. I'm pleased to hear you had a good time in SE.

What tactics eventually worked for you to take those deer?

I took a good buck today using still hunting tactics on a south facing slope about the 500' level in some nice old growth. I'll post a photo this weekend.

    Default excellent video

Lucky indeed but that's why we get out because you never know. Usually it happens without a camera. 18 years ago heard a deer screamin for quite awhile thought maybe my son was playin with his deer call till I started glassin to find a blackie takin down a buck.

    Thanks for the video.
