    Default In class experience

I got my OUPV through Alaska Waters Consulting at their classroom in the Dimond Center.

I just cannot imagine taking and successfully passing the tests with an online class. Too much information to cover.

I was really glad to have a live, experienced instructor in the classroom to make sure I really got the concepts, especially the charting and plotting.

Without knowing how your online class would be taught if you didn't have a way to effectively ask questions and have the instructor work with you one-on-one I think it would be a tough go passing the USCG tests...

Before they had online courses I order a study book and manual from the ads in a boating book. I had no problems passing the test.

I took their 100T Master class. Roger and Greg are good people, and Roger's about as experienced as it gets. I highly recommend their classes for someone looking to get their CG license.
