After reading the below info on Leupold scopes it got me wondering about this...
I have an older VX-II and a VX-III. Does anyone have any idea if their refurbish program would bring these old scopes up to newer standards? Or will it just replace the scratched and damage stuff with reproduced old technology?
My buddies that sent in old scopes to be repaired, leupold sent them back a modern equivelent.
Are you sure they are VX models? The older models are the Vari X line. But to answer your question Leupold can change the friction adjustments to clicks if they are the older Var X models that have friction adjustments.
They can also change the reticles and refinish the scopes as well. But before you consider this you may be better off to sell your old scopes on EBAY and buy new ones from Allen in Alaska. His prices and service can't be beat.
