    Default Big Delta Rain Vanes

I am wondering if any of the trad folks have tried these from their recurves or longbows? I am interested in trying these out of my longbow but they just seem too good to be true. They would certainly be more weather resistant than feathers, but only useful if they fly true!

Did some asking but I can't find anyone who shoots these. They look kinda techy for a trad arrow but would come in handy for a PWS black tail hunt, if they work. Thing is I've never found a vane that worked well for traditional bows.

There are several feather waterproofing products available, must work about as well as scotchgard. Best thing Ive found is fresh waterfowl feathers trouble is they don't last long.
