Default Tipped TSX 200g .308 cal.

I just talked to the Barnes people about a question I had (see my other post). The dude there said they are making tipped tsx bullets in 200g for .308 with a B.C. of about .525 (they are still testing it to be sure). He was saying they will start shipping out in a month or two. Looks like I will have a 300 RUM project this spring eh? I actually pre-ordered some. We will see if and when they get here.

Another new bullet will be a 285g .338 bullet with a B.C. .585 for the big .338's (Lapua, RUM, Edge etc.)

The Barnes rep was REALLY helpful, I am quite impressed.

    I also load for a 300RUM. I've had good luck with IMR7828 using 175gr Berger's and RL-25 with 200gr Accubonds.

I'll have to let a friend know about the new 285gr 338, he may want to try that in his TAC 338 Lapua. That seems to be a nitch fitting right in between the typical 250gr or 300gr offerings in that cartridge.

My RUM shoots lights out with RL25 and 200g accubonds as well. I like the performance of Barnes bullets on game and am glad to see a high BC .308 bullet from them to compete with the accubond.
