    Default knik snow machining

has anyone been out in the knik area lately, is there sufficient snow and ice to get back to the glacier? or at least the flats?

Wednesday before Thanksgiving there was almost no snow. I'm not sure what they got during the storm, but it is 38* and raining on the flats now so I doubt much will stick around.

i was out there last friday, I wouldn't take my machine out there...there was enough snow to cover all the ground though...but there was a lot of melted slush on top....your skis will be in the dirt/rocks for sure....but a fan cooled sled won't overheat out there though...
