Temps were in the high 20's on Monday, and in the 30's on Tuesday. It is 17 F at 1:30 pm on Wednesday.
    Weather History

Snow Depth At Landing Parking Lot:

7" on 11/11, trace of snow on 11/23 which turned into water due to temps being in the 30's. Ground covering is now wet and heavy.

    Trail Conditions:

11/25 Due to the open leads and lack of snow it is highly suggested not to try leave the Landing via the launch. You can access the Big Su through the access trail that is north of the Rolly Creek, however it has only been used by two people as far as reported today. Kroto Slough is frozen over, however there is some overflow in spots. Because of the lack of snow the ride will not be fun on the ice due to all of the jumbles. There are open areas of water, but they can be driven around. No river trails have been established/marked out there so there are tracks out on the ice that go in different directions and may not lead to safe places. Conditions have changed in the past few days due to the warmer temps and lack of snow. Snowmachiners should consider saving the gas for later on in the winter unless they are highly experienced or really need to get in or out to their cabins. A rider came in today after spending 2.5 hours to get from Fish Creek off the Kroto Slough to the Landing. It usually takes him around 45 minutes to an hour.

    Exclamation The Trail!!!

Hey guys! The trail they are talking about takes off of Rolly Creek Trail right befor you enter in the last straight stretch to Rolly Creek. You will be in an open swamp kind of small and you go straight for about 150yds. beyond Rolly Creek Trail and make a left into the woods on a old cat trail and it will wind around and goes down a sidehill and on to a swamp and you go across it and on to a old river slough, and when you get to the river you make a left go down 100yds. and it dumps you out in the islands across from Deshka River and Kroto Slough! We call it the Rolly Creek Bypass! It is the best early season way to this area! If I can and find a fool to go with me, I will maybe on Friday try to go out and mark it with 5x7 orange State diamonds.

    Anybody want to go?

    This trail is not marked!!!
    It will be RUFF!!!!
