(Chuckle) I love how her hands are placed in that photograph Olga !!

It sorta reminds me of something !!

This image was created using a 4 mega pixel 'toy' camera !!!

IN fact: I just purchased 3 more - toy cameras - for $89 each - brand new !! Kodak 12 mega pixel !!

I will use those cameras to create images that make $$ and use that $$ to purchase TOP of THE LINE - equipment! This is one of my many secrets: Let the public purchase your GOOD Equipment 4 U !! I think - different !!

Default "Sweet sweets", produced annually by the BHS Band

Barrow is fortunate this year to welcome back long time Barrow High School Band Director Ronnie Stanford following a one year absence. Mr. Stanford's programs have won many awards and he was recognized as Alaska's Teacher of the Year in 2005.

One of the more pleasant interactions the BHS Band has with the community of Barrow is an annual fund raiser called "Sweet Sweets" that every November dedicates an evening to sugar and sound. (I had three, count 'em, pieces of cherry pie!)

Here are a few shots from the evening of November 7, 2009.

The above image was shot with a Nikon D3, ISO 6400, 1/20 second, f/5.3, 310mm with an 80-400mm Nikkor lens.

This shot was taken at ISO 2000, with a Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 lens at f/1.8 and a shutter speed of 1/125.

This image is again using the 80-400mm lens, at 280mm. ISO was 6400, shutter speed 1/20 second, and aperture was wide open at f/5.3.

This is again the 85mm f/1.8, this time wide open with a shutter speed of 1/100 second.

Purchase 5 skins of mouton or tuscanny- the atigii (outside cover) can either be white for hunting - or 'denim' for a work parky !!

Wolverine is the absolute best fur for the 'ruff' (Isaqavik).

wolf is pretty but out in the elements it will keep your face wet - if there is any blowin snow or rain.

Polar bear is too *****ly -

Any type of fox fur is for women's parky's only !!

Beaver is the best for the cuffs and for hats - but nothing is better than 'sealskin' !!

Rosemanry Oviok - Point Hope made my parky in 1982 - It is still in use. I have gone thorugh half a dozen atigii's - mostly denim. and 3 furr ruff's.

Believe it or not: I have well over 1,000 invested in this awesome light super warm parky !! It served me extremely well over the years, especially back in Boston - high voltage splicing on the train tracks - it was the perfect 'cushion' for my knees for quite a few years 83-87

If it's a true reflection, wouldn't the wording be backwards? Or perhaps a reflection of a reflection?
