    Exclamation S&W Discount

Seems S&W has a military discount program for active-duty and retirees.

A few things to pay attention to: 1) It might take up to three months for your pistol to ship; 2) The discount is from MSRP.

Gunsamerica shows I can get the M&P 45 I want for about $470 + S&H/FFL transfer. The MSRP is $760, and after discount is $456 + S&H/FFL transfer. In my case, it's not worth the hassle, but I didn't price everything and you might find a good deal.

Thought I'd share the news. With Christmas right around the corner I figured I had to do my part to increase domestic tranquility through firearms purchases

    Default Photocopying Military IDs

just an FYI for some of you considering this. Photocopying of US Government Identification is a violation of Title 18, US Code Part I, Chapter 33, Section 701 and punishable by both fine and imprisonment.

Sort of. Photocopying an entire military ID for the purposes of positive identification is a violation. Photocopying of a portion of an identification card for validation of a written claim is not a violation.
