    Cordova Turkey Shoot!
    AND MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
    Cordova Trap and Gun Club
    WHEN:
    Sunday Nov. 22, 12:00 4:00 pm.

    WHERE:
    Cordova Shooting Range House on Sheridan Glacier Rd.

    WHO:
    Everyone is invited. FAMILIES ARE WELCOME.

    EVENTS:
    Trap and skeet, .22 cal. Rifle and big bore HUNTING rifle, 270 and
    up, (300meters, hand held on bench), shooting games of chance.

    REGISTRATION FEE:
    Free for club members
    $15.00 for non-members

    LUNCH:
    Hotdogs, chili, chips, and drinks for purchase.

    PRIZES:
    Event winners receive a $15.00 coupon to local businesses. Youth gun
    and other door prizes at 4:00 pm, must be present to win.

    GUN CLUB
    For a little town, Cordova has a fine shooting range.

    MEMBERSHIP:
    Please join the club to help support our facility.

    MEMBERSHIP DUES:
    $20.00 junior, $30.00 individual or $40.00 for the family

    Coast Guard Personnel
    have a corporate membership.

    We used to have them out at the Clearwater Lodge back when I was younger.

    Alot of fun, but we won turkeys and hams.

    Whats really good is to use an open sight 22 and see how many empty shoutgun shells you can knock off without missing free hand at 50'.

    I think our fees back then was like 2 bucks a wack.

    We did the closest group, and the shotgun squares too.

    The one thing that we always did was use open sights to give everybody an even chance.

    When the target rifles started getting used, that was the end of it .
